		<description>Music follows sound as poem follows speech and sculpture follows object but there is nothing that painting follows ; carried by colour, it just moves forward and passes from the state of an idea to the one of substance. Facing his picture, the painter knows that his creation stands in a place of its own. He is the only one who will have to turn thoughts into material while remaining, however, in a two dimensions world. (...)
